After Giwa FC were expelled from the NPFL, the players have been allowed by the League Management Company (LMC) and the NFF to move to any club of their choice till the end of the season after which such players will have to move back to Giwa FC.
"Kano Pillars is one of the biggest clubs in Nigeria, they have a very [good] squad and I count myself lucky to have such opportunity to play with them. Most importantly I'm happy to play football again," Gyan told Goal.
"Though I just moved to Kano but I'm already putting in my best in training and hopefully I'll make my debut for Kano Pillars soon," he said.
