Chile sinks Argentina to win Copa America ...As Messi quits international football

For the second consecutive time, the la Roja of chile has defeated the Albiceste of Argentina to record their 2nd Copa America title.
It was a 120 minutes duel between the two sides at in New Jersey before a penalty shoot out made the decidal of the match which ended 4-2.
The two sides were reduced to 10 men each in the first half. Chilean Diaz got sent out for a second bookable offence for his attract on messi, while Marcos Rojo got booked for his behind-attack on Vidal.
Claudio Bravo denied Argentina the chance of winning the trophy after 23 years of waiting as he saved Lucas Biglias penalty which was the only hope for the Agentina side. Messi couldn't help the matter either as he has earlier fired his penalty kick wide off the goal post.
The Chilean team will now proceed to represent Southern America at the confederation tournament billed for Russia 2017.
In the same development, five time World player of the year and Argentina forward, Lionel Messi has called it quit with international football.
The Barcelona star told reporters his intention to leave international football after the disappointing final match.
"The national team is over for me. That's is four finals; it's not for me.
"The decision is made, I think." Messi said.
This loss makes it four defeats in four finals for the Argentine having featured at the world cup finals 2014 and three Copa America finals.
