A governor that's building a multi-billion naira
private residence and simultaneously a 10 floors
complex in the full glare of everyone (most
especially the civil servants) complain that the
state is broke?
You stopped all other projects while your own
personal projects are going on before our naked
eyes, yet you have the guts to qualify our
workers as senseless and brainless? Jesus
Christ!
The civil service is an integral and critical part of
any government establishment.
If the "political head" of a state government
pronounced that those seeing to the day to day
running of such government establishment are
people without brain and sense, it thus then
mean and implies that he's also running a
senseless and brainless government.
This is the simplest interpretation of what the
governor said in respect to Ogun civil servants
and their ongoing strike.

This is what our workers are facing in Ogun
State.
(1) 12 Month of Unpaid Cooperative Deductions.
(2) 72 Months Unremitted Contributory Pension
Scheme (CPS) Against Contributory Pension Act.
(3) Abolition of Statutory Joint Allocation
Committee Contrary to 1999 Constitution
Thereby Crippling Local Government Service in
Ogun State.
(4) Non-payment of Gratuities Since October,
2012.
(5) Non-release of 2015 Promotion.
(6) Non-payment of 2016/2017 Annual Leave
Bonus.
(7) Failure to Pay 15 Month Salary of TASCE
Workers.
(8) Arbitrary and Forceful Seizure of Union Dues
and Attempt to Cripple UNIONISM in Ogun State.
(9) Collection of Application FEE for Land,
Housing and Car Loan without access to any
thing of such promised loan by Ogun State
Government.
