*EXCLUSIVE: Mandy 36, sold her virginity on auction site Cinderella Escorts
*The highest bidder was an anonymous businessman who paid €250,000
*Mandy has arranged to meet the successful bidder in September
*She says she wants to use the money for the 'needy' as well as her career
Mandy, from Germany, who works as a flight attendant, enlisted the help of Cinderella Escorts to sell her body online after coming across the website in a newspaper, and the lot has been purchased by an anonymous businessman in Munich.

The aspiring singer, who said she realised the 'right man' she'd been waiting for might never come along, told FEMAIL of abstaining from sex: 'It's like the casino - you have to know when to stop.

'I could go on for years telling myself that I only have to wait another year to meet the right guy.'

And Mandy, who has said she intends to use the proceeds of the auction to boost her career and help her family - leaving some over for charity - said she thought her age drove up the bidding on her virginity.

'Every woman can only lose her virginity once,' said Mandy, who will meet the successful bidder to complete the transaction next month.

'But if she has kept them for a very long time, it makes the pleasure all the more valuable.
Speaking exclusively to FEMAIL Mandy said: 'I never met the right guy. I focused on my career. It just didn't work out sometimes.'
The flight attendant says she still hopes to meet her dream man after the sale.

'I didn't give up hope of meeting the right guy someday,' she said.
'But if he loves me, he'll accept me without me being a virgin any longer.'

2018 Hajj: Nigerians Scammed In Saudi Arabia

Eight pilgrims from Kebbi have fallen prey to the nefarious activities of some Saudi-based fraudsters in Madinah, losing their Basic Traveling Allowances (BTA).
NAN reports that the fraudsters, mostly Nigerians resident in the Holy land illegally often gained access to Nigerian pilgrims outside their hotel accommodation, where they lured their unsuspecting victims into shady business transactions.
The leader of Kebbi State’s pilgrims in Madinah, Abubakar Argungu, confirmed this to newsmen on Thursday in Madinah.
He lamented that illegal money changers deceived the pilgrims, especially the elderly people, and dispossessed them of their cash.
“Our major concern this year is that “Tikaris” (illegal residents) have been cheating and stealing our pilgrims’ money. Eight of our pilgrims were defrauded of their BTAs.”
He decried the attitude of the state officials who abandoned their pilgrims to their fate on arrival in the Holy land.
Argungu appealed to state governments to always appoint credible officials with the fear of God to take care of pilgrims’ welfare.
He also urged the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, to devise measures to protect pilgrims who engaged in “tooth cap glitz” and money exchange.
“Government should do this like it did by designating a single bank to collect fees for sacrificial animals during the Hajj”, the official said.

LAUTECH Lecturers Begin Two-week Warning Strike

The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso chapter, yesterday commenced a two-week warning strike.
They alleged poor funding of the institution owned by Oyo and Osun State governments.
The union, in a statement after its congress, signed by its chairman, Biodun Olaniran and the secretary, Toyin Abegunrin, said the strike was approved by its national body.
The statement read in part: “On 13th February, 2018, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) LAUTECH Branch Ogbomoso signed a Memorandum of Action (MoA) with the Governing Council (GC) of the University.
“The signing of MoA led to the suspension of the 8 months old strike on the 17th February 2018. One of the fundamental clauses of the agreement is the promise of the GC that “it will ensure that the governments (of Oyo and Osun states) will be made to be responsive to their legitimate responsibilities (funding inclusive) to the University.”
“The GC also promised to work out the modality of paying salary arrears, promotion arrears, earned academic allowances (EAA) as well as paying monthly salaries as and when due. Out of eleven months salary arrears owed, only one month had been paid.
“The payment of monthly salary had become dwindling since May and nothing had been paid on promotion arrears and EAA. The Union observed these reneges of the MoA on the part of the GC and the University administration and several correspondences were made to the duo of the University administration and GC to call their attention to the implications of reneging on the MoA.
“It is worthy of note that most of the time, the GC do not reply our correspondence to it and whenever it does, the message has been “bear with us until the University finance improves.” The latest of such correspondent to the GC was on the 5th July, 2018. No reply was made on this correspondence.
“Reviewing the MoA, the union observed that the situation in LAUTECH is not improving because the Visitors to the University are not responsive to their financial responsibilities to the University. The situation becomes unbearable to members of ASUU in LAUTECH, who are being owed 10 months salaries among others.
“The Branch sought and obtained permission to embark on two weeks warning strike from National Executive Council of ASUU.
“The ASUU LAUTECH Branch is on two weeks warning strike due to poor funding of the University by the owner states government. Let the owner states government remember the masses and give them their social right!”
